4. Payments

All payments on our site are managed through Thinkific’s Built-in Checkout. Payments are non-refundable once made. Please contact [email protected] for any issues with payments with the subject line of “Payment”.

5. Cancellation or Termination

If you have chosen a subscription account, you may cancel the subscription at any time by emailing [email protected]. Your subscription will be cancelled within fourteen (14) days of the notification. Any charges made in that fourteen (14) days shall not be refundable. All access to the account shall be removed at the end of that fourteen (14) day period. If Polaris Law requires that you take additional actions with a third party (such as Thinkific Payments) in order to effect your termination, you agree that it will be your sole responsibility to take such actions and that Polaris Law will not be responsible for additional charges to your account based on your failure to follow through with such instructions. The Intellectual Property provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall survive any termination of your subscription.

6. Standards of Usage

If, at any time, you are using the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, violating any terms of use, attempting to reverse engineer any portion of the site, interfering with the normal operation of the site, transmit any viruses, malware, or other types of malicious software on the stie, providing access to your account to other individuals who have not purchased services, or harassing or inappropriately posting on the site in any way, your use of the Site will be immediately terminated. You will not be entitled to a refund for such termination and may be subject to claims for damages or remedies for any harm you have caused or breach of these terms.

8. Non-Affiliation

Own It! and Polaris Law Group are not affiliated with any accredited or non-accredited high school, college, or university. No course credit is provided through any of the courses on this site.

9. Termination of Usage

We may terminate your access or suspend your right to access all or part of this site, without notice, for any conduct that we, in our sole discretion, believe is in violation of any applicable law, is in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or is harmful to the interests of other users, Associates, or us. In addition, we reserve the right to refuse an order from any customer in our sole discretion.

10. Applicable Law

If you access this site from anywhere, you agree that the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern these Terms and Conditions and any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Polaris Law Group.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you access this site, any dispute relating in any way to your visit to this site, to these Terms and Conditions, to our Privacy Policy, to our advertising or business practices, or to products you purchase through this site shall be submitted to binding, confidential arbitration with JAMS in Denver, Colorado, USA, except that, to the extent you have in any manner violated or threatened to violate Polaris Law Group’s intellectual property rights, Polaris Law Group may seek injunctive or other appropriate relief in any state or federal court in the State of Colorado, USA and you consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such courts. The arbitrator's award shall be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction. The prevailing party in the arbitration may be awarded its reasonable attorney fees and costs. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, no arbitration under this Agreement shall be joined to an arbitration involving any other party subject to this Agreement, whether through class arbitration proceedings or otherwise.

12. No Waiver

The failure of Polaris Law Group to exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

13. Modification and Severability

We reserve the right to make changes to this site, our policies, and these Terms and Conditions at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.
